Shader distorts 2d texture when selected in "Quad" preview

Hello! This might be a dumb question, but I seem to be having trouble adding a shader to my 2d sprite. Whenever I use the "Quad" option in the main preview window, the sprite gets distorted like this: ![alt text][1] (the right is the distorted sprite in-game, while the other one on the left is what its suppose to look like) I am trying to make a simple wind shader (I am following Unity's tutorial here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8H8ZdL_7eA&ab_channel=Unity) This kept happening to me whenever I use 2d sprites. Can someone help me here? Thanks!
